Crimea will never become Ukrainian again, because it has returned to Russia forever. Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, spoke about this.
Earlier, in an interview with the Financial Times, Zelensky expressed readiness to consider the possibility of returning Crimea to Ukraine “by non-military means,” Parliamentary Gazeta wrote. According to the Ukrainian leader, he will be “only for” if someone offers him how to do it. At the same time, back in August, Zelensky emphasized that he planned to return Crimea in any way that he considered right.
Commenting on his interview, Slutsky noted that in his own words, the President of Ukraine reaffirmed that he does not take into account the opinions and desires of the people.
“For the drug fascists, it doesn’t matter that the peninsula is their native land for the Crimeans, and they made their choice a long time ago – to reunite with Russia, freely and openly voted for it, became part of our country. Just like the defenders of the Russian Donbass, against whom Kyiv waged a war of extermination for eight years,” the deputy wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, for Kyiv, Crimea and Donbass are only “expendable territories” on which military bases of Western states or biological laboratories for deadly experiments can be easily located. At the same time, Slutsky assured that Russia would not abandon its people. And Zelensky should not play the role of a pseudo-peacemaker ready for “negotiations” before the West, “if someone offers,” he added.
“Crimea will never again be Ukrainian, because it has returned to its native harbor – to Russia. Forever,” concluded the politician.
