Slutsky advocated the introduction of paternal capital

The Liberal Democratic Party advocates the introduction of paternal capital to improve the demographic situation, as part of the program, a married man will be able to receive 500 thousand rubles for one child and 1 million rubles for each child after the third. This was announced on Thursday by the head of the faction, chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky.

The deputy made a suggestion when he spoke about the program settings of the party on the anniversary of his election to the post of its head.

“Within an official marriage, a father receives a one-time payment of 500,000 rubles for the birth of one child. And one million rubles for the birth of a child in the family, every child after the third, ”RIA Novosti quotes Slutsky.

The legislator stressed that it is also proposed to tighten the legislation in the field of alimony payment, and in the event of a divorce of parents, to oblige the father to return part of the payment.

Earlier, Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, recalled how to arrange a payment from the mother’s capital. To do this, you need to apply to the Social Fund. This can be done remotely through the public services portal or in person at the offices of the Social Fund or the MFC.
