In Slovakia, the last measure against the spread of coronavirus infection will be lifted. This was announced today, May 12, in the Office of the Chief Hygienist of the Republic.
It is reported that from May 15, the country will no longer be required to wear a respirator in hospitals, waiting rooms and doctors’ offices, as well as in nursing homes and pharmacies.
“We are taking this step in connection with the gradual improvement of the epidemiological situation regarding the occurrence of acute respiratory diseases in Slovakia,” – said the chief hygienist of the republic Jan Mikas.
Recall that in the EU, strict measures to combat coronavirus began to be canceled in 2022. In particular, in May last year, the Czech Republic abolished the obligation to cover the nose and mouth in medical institutions and social care hospitals.
