“Skopin maniac” admitted that he helped to hide the murder

The Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) published video, in which Viktor Mokhov, better known as the “Skopin maniac”, confessed to the murder case. Viktor Mokhov confirmed that he helped hide the body. Yesterday, on August 10, it became known that the ICR suspects Viktor Mokhov under the article “Concealment of crimes” (part 2 of article 316 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Under the article, Mokhov faces a fine of up to 200,000 rubles, forced labor for up to two years, arrest for up to six months, or imprisonment for up to two years.

“I hear some sounds, blows. And then comes in (killer.— “b”). “Guys, I, in my opinion, killed,” Viktor Mokhov said to the TFR. After the suspect shows the place where the body lay for two days.

Earlier, on August 7, a corpse was found in the courtyard of an abandoned house. The ICR found that on August 2, five friends celebrated the Day of the Airborne Forces in the house of Viktor Mokhov. Two of them, while intoxicated, accused each other of stealing a goose. After that, a 39-year-old man hit a friend in the neck with an elbow, as a result of which he died. The accused of murder and Viktor Mokhov, against whom the man testified, moved the corpse to the yard of an abandoned house.

In 2000, Viktor Mokhov kidnapped two girls. For three and a half years he kept them in the basement of his house and regularly raped them. One of them gave birth to two boys and was preparing to become the mother of a third child. In 2005, Mokhov was sentenced to 16 years and 10 months in prison. He was released from prison in 2021.
