In Yekaterinburg, signatures are being collected from citizens for the return of the Red Banner Group to Plotinka, where it stood for 39 years. This was reported by the Sverdlovsk regional branch of the Communist Party.

You can put your signatures online on one of the petition sites. As of the evening of June 14, 1949 people had already checked in there. You can also contact the offices of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in Yekaterinburg, in addition, activists periodically hold street events for this purpose, including on Plotinka itself.

As reported IA REGNUM, The Red Banner group was dismantled on the January night of 2013. Since then, officials have refused to return it to its historic site, arguing that Plotinka might not survive. Social activists consider these arguments far-fetched and demand the restoration of historical justice.
