The impossibility, due to anti-Russian sanctions, to receive a turbine for Nord Stream from Canada after repairs is reported by the German concern Siemens, writes on June 14 Berliner Zeitung.

The concern explained that the converted aviation gas turbines used in the operation of the gas pipeline, “are assembled in Canada and have been in service for over a decade.”

One of the turbines was sent for repair to the Siemens Energy plant in Montreal, but now it cannot be delivered to Russia due to the sanctions imposed by Canada.

The company says that it is trying to solve the problem, is in search of an acceptable solution.
