Shiv Sena Symbol Row Balasaheb Thackeray Legacy Uddhav Thackeray Eknath Shinde Amit Shah

Shiv Sena Symbol Row: The Election Commission has given its decision regarding the rightful owner of Shiv Sena, but the fight for the legacy of Balasaheb Thackeray is still on. This matter has now reached the Supreme Court. At the same time, Uddhav Thackeray has called a meeting of party leaders and further strategy will be chalked out in this meeting.

The Election Commission on Friday (February 17) allotted the name ‘Shiv Sena’ and its election symbol ‘bow and arrow’ to the group led by Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde. After the blow from the Election Commission, the Uddhav Thackeray faction removed ‘Shiv Sena’ from the website and Twitter handle of Shiv Sena.

The name of the Twitter profile has now been changed to ‘Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’. Due to the change of name, the blue tick on the handle also went away. Please tell that the official website of Shiv Sena is also not working now.

‘Amit Shah had promised’

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray targeted BJP and Eknath Shinde for not getting Shiv Sena’s name and election symbol. He said that in 2014, BJP broke the alliance with Shiv Sena and later they needed Shiv Sena’s help. Thackeray said, “Amit Shah came to my house and promised me (the CM’s post)…”

‘My father did not teach slavery’

Uddhav Thackeray said, “At that time, Amit Shah said it was okay, but after that you all can see what happened. Today some of our people have put on collars and gone to BJP, but my father never taught me slavery.” .. My father taught me to fight injustice.” Uddhav Thackeray also said that they stole our ‘bow and arrows’, but now Lord Ram is with us.

The matter reached the Supreme Court

The Uddhav Thackeray group has now reached the Supreme Court against the decision of the Election Commission. Uddhav Thackeray has filed a petition regarding Shiv Sena name and election symbol. In the Supreme Court, the Uddhav faction has said that the Election Commission has completely ignored their arguments.

What did Eknath Shinde say?

Earlier, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Expressed happiness on getting Shiv Sena name and election target. He said that we will leave no stone unturned for the ‘Shiv Srushti’ project. He said, “Amit Shah is here today and many of you may not know that he is a staunch devotee of Shivaji Maharaj. He has done a huge study about Maratha rulers and Shivaji Maharaj. He is also writing a book Which will be published soon… We have got the symbol of bow and arrow with the blessings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”

Amit Shah’s scathing attack

While addressing a gathering of BJP workers in Kolhapur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that he (Uddhav Thackeray) had surrendered at the feet of (Nationalist Party Congress chief) Sharad Pawar to become the chief minister. Due to the decision of the Election Commission, milk has become milk and water has become water. Without naming Thackeray, Amit Shah said, “Those who used to shout with the support of lies, today they have come to know on whose side the truth is.”

Let me tell you, Uddhav Thackeray had broken the alliance with BJP after the declaration of the results of the 2019 assembly elections. Thackeray had said at that time that the BJP had reneged on its promise regarding the Chief Minister.
