Serbian football player Kolarov retired


Former Serbia national football team defender Alexander Kolarov ended his career. This was reported on June 19 by Kurir.

“I always knew that sooner or later this moment would come. Although I am sad that I am closing this chapter of my life, I am grateful for the opportunity to achieve what has always been my dream.”— said 36-year-old Kolarov.

He announced that he was starting to study as a sports director and scout at the football center of the Italian Football Federation.

During his career, Kolarov defended the colors of the Serbian clubs Cukaricki, OFK, English Manchester City, Italian Lazio, Roma and Inter. He played for the Serbian national team from 2008 to 2020, played 94 matches and scored 11 goals.
