Security forces opened a case after the poisoning of children at the All-Russian competition in Perm

Investigators of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Perm Territory opened a criminal case after the mass poisoning of children at the All-Russian festival-competition of children’s amateur circus groups. This was reported in the press service of the department.

“A criminal case has been opened regarding the poisoning of children under the article “Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.” Investigators are now carrying out a set of measures aimed at identifying the reasons for the poisoning of children,” the Investigative Directorate for the Perm Territory reported.

According to media reports, there are now 19 people in the hospital who became ill after eating. The Ministry of Health reported that 15 cases were in stable condition. The causes of the poisoning are now being determined by specialists from Rospotrebnadzor and the regional prosecutor’s office.
