The talks took place during the 11th international meeting of high representatives in the Moscow region.
“The parties discussed bilateral relations and security issues of both countries, including the Libyan crisis and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict,” the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, the Supreme Council of State (SSC) of Libya accused the Government of National Unity (GNU), which had lost its legitimacy, of disobedience to the legislature.
