Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov urged to give Ukraine more weapons instead of trying to seat “at the negotiating table”

Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov commented on the statement of Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, who called for the start of peace talks mediated by China. Mr. Danilov called the weapon “the only argument of communication that Russia understands.” He also called for more weapons to be allocated to Ukraine, and not “to be constantly put at the negotiating table.”

“When the goal of the Russian aggressor remains unchanged – the destruction of Ukraine, the recent initiatives for a peaceful settlement are nothing more than pro-Russian peacekeeping. Don’t constantly put us at the negotiating table, give us sufficient weapons. Weapons are the best intermediary and the only communication argument understandable for Russia,” Alexei Danilov wrote on his Facebook (owned by the extremist and banned in the Russian Federation Meta).

Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that French President Emmanuel Macron will turn to Chinese President Xi Jinping with a peace plan that could contribute to the start of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations. According to the proposal of the French side, peace talks can take place in the summer of 2023. The Kremlin said they were unaware of such a plan. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that they support Europe’s desire to resume the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine.
