This phone is much thinner and lighter than the normal smartphone. We have a black color variant of Galaxy M52 5G for review, which has 128 GB internal storage with 8 GB RAM. We used this Samsung Mobile continuously for a few days and we are telling you today how our experience has been with this handset. In this review, we will find out whether the claims being made about the phone are true or just a marketing gimmick. Through the review, we will share all the detailed information related to the phone’s design, battery life, performance, camera, software.

    Samsung Galaxy M52 5G: Design
Talking about the design, the phone has been launched with Dewdrop Notch design. Even though the back and sides are made of plastic, the phone still feels very premium to hold. The bezels around the display are quite thin. The biggest strength of this phone is arguably its beauty. The phone looks a lot like the A52 with a bigger screen, but when you hold it in your hand, you will feel that it is much lighter. At just 7.4 mm thick, the M52 5G is good enough for those looking to buy a lighter phone. However, this phone also claims to be the “thinst” Samsung M-series phone.

But let us tell you that there is no headphone jack in this phone. So if you rely on wired headphones, then this device is not for you. The thin frame makes it the most difficult to shoot handheld videos, especially when you have oily skin or trembling hands. The phone also doesn’t have stereo speakers, probably because there was no room to include them. On the right side of the phone, there is a volume button at the top and just below it is the power button. The power button also houses a fingerprint scanner which is very fast. The phone also has a face-recognition sensor, but it is not as responsive as the fingerprint scanner.

Let us know that the back panel of the phone is made of plastic. You will see lines on the rear panel, but one thing that can definitely disappoint you here is that the back panel is glossy, due to which fingerprints fall very easily on the rear panel, so the rear panel You will have to clean it frequently if you do not put the cover on the phone. You will not get any case from the company in the retail box, you can get rid of cleaning the rear panel again and again by installing the case or say cover. One thing is good that the camera module of the phone is slightly embossed, let us tell you that the flash light is also present just below the camera module.

    Samsung Galaxy M52 5G: Display
Like all Samsung Super AMOLED screens, this phone also comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED+ Infinity-O display and 120Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate can be set to the standard 60Hz by going to Settings and tapping Display and Tapping Motion smoothness. And with 120Hz refresh rate, it offers smooth scrolling and transitions. The AMOLED display supports 1080 x 2400 (FHD+) resolution, giving clear and good picture quality.

Reading e-books, watching favorite videos on YouTube and OTT platforms is quite amazing on this phone. Even while playing games, the display offers clarity and the experience is quite smooth with its 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy M52 5G has Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the display which protects the phone’s screen from scratches and a few drops of water.

    Samsung Galaxy M52 5G: Performance
The M52 5G comes with Snapdragon 778G SoC processor and 6GB or 8GB of RAM and Adreno 642L GPU. This is the reason why apps are installed very quickly in this phone and there is no problem in switching from one app to another. The phone also has 5G support in 11 bands and WiFi 6. Both the fast chipset and the good quality display offer crisp and vibrant graphics that help in gaming. Along with this, there was no lag or frame drop experience while playing games in the phone, which is the specialty of this phone.

The worst thing about this phone is that things like Galaxy Store will constantly shower you with notifications, due to which you will feel upset, because the light of the phone also lights up again and again due to the notification coming. Along with this, the phone starts heating up a bit while playing the game for more than 30 minutes, although you may not feel this heat after applying the cover on the phone. But without the cover there is a feeling of overheating. Let us tell you that we found this while playing Asphalt 9: Legends and Battlegrounds Mobile India.

    Samsung Galaxy M52 5G: Battery
The Galaxy M52 packs a 5,000mAh battery. If the phone is used less, then it can last for more than 4 days. And with heavy usage including gaming, streaming and web-browsing, it can easily last more than a day of charge. On the other hand, if you reduce the refresh rate to 60Hz, then you can run the phone more on a single charge. The phone comes with a 15W charger in the box, which takes around 1:30 hours to fully recharge the battery with less than 10% charge. The phone charges quickly, it gets charged from 0% to 45% in 30 minutes.

    Samsung Galaxy M52 5G: Camera
The M52 sports a triple camera setup at the back. It has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. In Samsung M52, we found its camera the best. The camera of the phone is very helpful in taking very detailed and sharp images. The ultra-wide lens also captures a large view and delivers good performance during the day. The macro sensor is just a mediocre addition to the camera module.

At night, when you take a photo with the primary sensor, you will see the photo grainy, but when the camera is run in night mode, you will get clear and good pictures. Night mode captures more light and color than the regular photo mode. The ultra-wide lens performs well in low-light conditions.

On the front, you have a 32MP front camera that can click sharp selfies. The front camera helps in clicking great photos both in indoor lighting and in daylight. Coming to the video, you can record footage in this phone in 1080p at 30/60fps while you can only shoot in 4K and 720p resolutions at 30fps. The phone does not come with optical image stabilization and the output may shake at times if the phone is not held firmly.

To explore other modes, you have to click on More, where you can access Pro mode, set auto-focus, white balance, ISO, aperture and other settings to click pictures like a pro. Huh. With this, you will also get a chance to click in 7 color options of a photo in the phone. Let us know that you can adjust the level of blur before quickening the photo with the portrait camera. In the camera app, customers will also get camera features like Pro Mode, Food, Slow Motion and Hyperlapse. That is why it is necessary to praise the camera of the phone.

Our Verdict on Samsung Galaxy M52 5G
Let us tell you that the price of 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Samsung M52 5G is Rs 24,999. At this price point, only a handful of phones offer the same specifications as this device. POCO X3 Pro has a better SoC and a slightly bigger battery but this phone is nothing in front of it when it comes to cameras and design. On the other hand, Realme 8 Pro has a better camera at the back but not at the front. It also has a smaller battery and an older SoC. Apart from this, OnePlus Nord is more expensive with weaker hardware. Though the phone lacks in some places like 3.5mm jack, there is no stereo speaker for audio. But still this smartphone is the best in its range of phones. Its look and camera make this phone better among other phones.
