Russian troops eliminated up to 60 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions

The Russian military attacked the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Yuzhnodonetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the enemy lost up to 60 servicemen in a day. This was announced at a briefing by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense (MO) of Russia, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.

“In the Yuzhnodonetsk and Zaporozhye directions, operational-tactical aviation and artillery of the Vostok group of troops inflicted a comprehensive fire defeat on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Vugledar, Dobrovolye, DPR, Gulyaipole and Yurkovka, Zaporizhzhia region. Enemy losses per day in these directions amounted to 60 military personnel, 1 tank, 2 armored fighting vehicles, D-20 howitzer and 2 D-30 howitzers”, he clarified.

According to him, three Ukrainian ammunition depots were also destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Malinovka in the Zaporozhye region, Vuhledar and Vodiane of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
