Russian Andrey Rublev beat the Swiss Stan Wawrinka on the second round of the Masters series tournament in Madrid and made it to the next stage.

In the game, Rublev beat the Swiss with a score of 7:5, 6:4. The game lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes. In the next match, the Russian will play with the Japanese tennis player Yoshihito Nishiokoi.

The Masters series tournament takes place in Madrid, Spain. The prize fund of the tournament exceeds 7.7 million euros.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Karen Khachanov beat the Brazilian Tiago Monteiro in the Madrid “Masters” and also made it to the third round of the tournament.
