Russian Su-35 shot down Ukrainian Mi-8 near Kupyansk

A Su-35 fighter jet of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter near Kupyansk with a missile. Sergei Zybinsky, head of the press center of the Zapad group of troops, told TASS about this.

“In the course of hostilities in the Kupyansk direction of the operational-tactical aviation of the Zapad group of forces in the Kupyansk region, a Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by a missile attack from a Su-35 fighter,” he said.

As Zybinsky informed, ground attack and army aviation carried out 11 strikes against the accumulation of manpower, military equipment and weapons of the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and territorial defense units.
