Russian President Putin expressed condolences in connection with the death of the former head of the CEC Churov

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin expressed condolences on the death of the former chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia Vladimir Churov. He died at the age of 77.

Press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin is aware of Churov’s death. The President will send an appropriate telegram to the address of the family of the deceased.

“The unfortunate news about the death of Churov, the president deeply sympathizes and will soon send a telegram of condolences to family and friends,” Peskov said.
