Russian President Vladimir Putin has apologized to Azerbaijan for a tragic plane crash in Kazakhstan. On Saturday Putin called Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to express condolences to the families of the victims.
Crash occurred on Wednesday as a flight traveling from Baku to Grozny went down while in Russian airspace. Putin conveyed deep sorrow for the incident and assured support to the grieving families.
