The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia put Igor Kolesnik, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), on the wanted list, follows from the base of the department. Also in the database are Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Lokota and Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine Andriy Grishchenko. All of them are wanted under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, but it is not specified under which one.
In March, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation charged Kolesnik, Lokota and Grishchenko in absentia. According to the agency, since 2016, more than 500 civilians have died in the Donbass, and about 1,000 people have been injured because of their actions. In February, the chairman of the TFR, Alexander Bastrykin, said that since 2014, 5,000 people had been killed in the Donbass.
