Russian Foreign Ministry: Russia will not deploy offensive troops and equipment on the territory of ZNPP

Russia does not intend to place military equipment and troops on the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP for offensive purposes. At the station there are only fighters protecting the object from attack. This was stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

“We have never deployed and do not plan to deploy military contingents and military equipment intended for offensive operations on the territory of the ZNPP,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Grushko.
