Russian aircraft shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter near Kupyansk

The operational-tactical aviation of the Russian group of troops “West” in the Kupyansk direction during a special operation in Ukraine destroyed a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter. This was announced by the head of the press center of the group of troops Sergei Zybinsky.

“In the course of hostilities in the Kupyansk direction of operational-tactical aviation of the Zapad group of troops in the Kupyansk region, a Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by a missile attack from a Su-35 fighter,” — cites his words of the Ministry of Defense.

Moreover, in this direction, 11 strikes were made on the accumulation of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They were applied by ground attack and army aviation.
