Russia will start producing equipment for resuscitation and ultrasound

In Russia, they intend to establish mass production of medical equipment. As writes newspaper “Izvestia” citing a source, in particular, the country wants to produce equipment for ultrasound, resuscitation, anesthesia, as well as emergency care.

According to the newspaper, the state corporation Rostec is currently creating a single center for the creation of such products, which will coordinate the work of about 30 enterprises. We plan to quadruple our share of the medical equipment market. The range of products will include equipment for ultrasound, gynecology, anesthesia and other necessary diagnostic equipment.

“The goal is to increase the company’s share in the presence segments and enter the list of leaders among suppliers of products for diagnostics, surgery, resuscitation, ophthalmology, dentistry and other areas of medicine. Relevant corporate procedures have already started,” — told the source of the newspaper.

This information was confirmed by Rostec. They clarified that we can talk about the production of a large line of products under a single brand. The state corporation also noted that difficulties with supplies from abroad create demand for goods of domestic manufacturers.
