Russia will hold talks with the Arab world over the war in Israel

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will meet in Moscow with Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova spoke about this.

“Negotiations between Lavrov and the Secretary General of the League of Arab States will take place in Moscow,” wrote Zakharova in her telegram channel. She added that the meeting will take place on Monday, October 9.

The Secretariat of the League of Arab States confirmed the departure of Ahmed Aboul Gheit and noted that Lavrov and the Secretary General have many important issues to discuss. The parties intend to discuss a number of interests relating to relations between Arab and Russian countries, as well as a wide range of issues of international and regional significance.
