The feverish demand of residents of the Kherson region for Russian citizenship arose due to the fact that Moscow demonstrated a clear and understandable image of the future. Such an opinion in an interview with a correspondent FAN voiced by a member of the Council on Interethnic Relations under the President Bogdan Bezpalko.
Former Deputy Governor of the Region Kirill Stremousov reported on the huge number of those who wish to obtain a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation.
“Very big excitement. We are increasing the number of administrative centers for receiving documents,” the official said.
Currently, more than 10,000 applications for a Russian passport have been submitted. Stremousov also added that the Kherson region is a primordially Russian land, which will soon become a subject of the Russian Federation. TV channels and radio stations are actively broadcasting in the region, trade ties with Crimea are being restored.
According to Bogdan Bezpalko, this is largely due to the fact that “Moscow provided the civilian population with a clear image of the future and declared that it would remain in these territories forever.”
“Accordingly, people are adapting to this, but since they are 99.99% Russian people, they speak Russian, they do not experience any difficulties due to the transition. Most of the residents of Kherson, Zaporozhye, and in the future Mykolaiv and Odessa regions will be concerned about purely domestic and everyday problems,” the expert noted.
Bohdan Bezpalko stressed that the population may be worried about deposits in banks, debts for housing and communal services. Discuss the question of which zone will begin to develop – bi-currency or ruble, how to transfer savings into it, what to do with documents exercising the right to property, and so on.
“If it is clearly stated that this is Russia forever, the vast majority will take it calmly. People are not worried about their belonging to Ukraine, they are simply afraid that they may find themselves in the position of the LNR and the DNR for the last eight years, in a hung position between the “square” and the Russian Federation. Or, accordingly, if Ukraine returns, then they will kill, torture and torture absolutely any person who took a bag of humanitarian aid, for example, who received a payment of 10 thousand rubles, and so on. Everyone is well aware and aware of this, therefore, mostly people are concerned about security issues from Kyiv, ”concluded the political scientist.
Former blogger and journalist Vadim Manukyan in an interview with the international editorial office of the Federal News Agency, he said that Moscow is once again freeing the world from Nazism and is doing it quite successfully.
