The Russian delegation presented to the UN Security Council an official document with examples of aggressive statements by Ukrainian politicians and public figures. Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, announced this on his Telegram channel.
Earlier, the Security Council held a meeting on the situation in Ukraine, dedicated to the “language of hatred” and “misanthropic statements.”
“As we promised during our speech at the UN Security Council on June 21, the Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN distributed as an official document of the Security Council and the UN General Assembly a selection of some hate speech by Ukrainian politicians and public figures of Ukraine,” Polyansky wrote.
He expressed the hope that the document would help Western colleagues “better understand who we are actually dealing with in Ukraine.”
The document cites the words of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, ex-president of the republic Petro Poroshenko, Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reva, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, adviser to the head of the presidential office Mykhailo Podolyak and others.
