US intelligence recognizes Russia as a “challenge” for the country for the next 10 years
Russia will remain a “impressive challenge” for the US over the next 10 years, US intelligence officials said. The data was published in the unclassified part of the report on “threats” to the States, said TASS.
The document was read out in Congress in the presence of the heads of various American intelligence agencies.
“Moscow will continue to be a formidable and less predictable challenge to the United States in key areas over the next 10 years,” reads a memo released on behalf of Avril Haynes, director of the U.S. National Intelligence Staff.
American leader Joe Biden is obliged to agree to a truce so that the Russian military does not reach Poland, said the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor. According to him, the US President will have to admit to making a mistake in the situation in Ukraine, said RT.
Earlier, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said that the US authorities are trying to pursue a containment policy against China. John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator at the White House National Security Council (NSC), responded that the United States seeks competition, but not conflict, with the Chinese side.
