Rublev advanced to the second round of the tennis tournament in Dubai

Russian Andrey Rublev defeated Serb Filip Krajinovic in the match of the first round of the tennis tournament in Dubai, held under the auspices of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). The meeting ended with a score of 7:5, 6:2 in favor of the Russian and lasted 1.5 hours.

25-year-old Rublev is on the sixth line of the ATP rankings, won 12 tournaments in singles under her auspices. 28-year-old Krajnovic is ranked 70th.

In the second round, Andrey Rublev’s opponent will be Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina from Spain.

The prize fund of the tournament in Dubai is almost $3 million.
