Rospotrebnadzor plans to conduct an inspection of the American manufacturing company Johnson & Johnson, in connection with the received message about the presence of asbestos in baby powder. Writes about it TASS.

It is reported that the Association “Public Consumer Initiative” appealed to the Moscow court with a request to conduct an examination of the goods. According to the organization, the American company distributes powder with asbestos, which causes cancer in people.

The PIO is demanding that Johnson & Johnson provide Russian buyers with access to a compensation fund that the company has set up to cover claims from victims in Canada and the United States.

Earlier, a Brazilian court banned the Telegram messenger due to its refusal to provide law enforcement agencies with access to the company’s correspondence and internal information.
