Rosfinmonitoring sent its initiative to the relevant organizations to tighten the procedure for transferring money without opening an account. This is reported by TASS with reference to the department.
Earlier it became known that Rosfinmonitoring prepared amendments to the anti-money laundering law, where it proposed, in particular, to set a limit of 60 thousand rubles for transfers of citizens with simplified customer identification without opening an account. In turn, experts have already expressed the opinion that the optimal bar for transfers without opening an account after simplified identification will be the amount of 600 thousand – such a limit will affect a relatively small number of customers and will not lead to an increase in costs.
“In order to obtain the opinion of representatives of the professional community, including on the amount of the projected threshold, the proposals prepared by Rosfinmonitoring were sent to associations of banks, payment system operators and other specialized organizations. Currently, the service is summarizing the received positions, ”the Rosfinmonitoring statement says.
