Romir: expenses of Russians increased by 11.9% over the year


From June 6 to June 12, the weekly spending of Russians increased by 3.8% compared to the beginning of the month, follows from the results research holding “Romir”. The average bill of Russians also increased by 1.9% compared to the previous week (the average purchase price was 685 rubles). According to Romir analysts, the expenses of Russians in annual dynamics increased by 11.9%, the average check – by 9.3%.

Romir recorded the upward trend in the average bill of Russians for another last weekwhen the weekly spending index was 5276 points. The current indicator is fixed at the level of 5477 points.

The amount of the average check, according to the calculations of Romir analysts, in the period from May 30 to June 5 amounted to only 672 rubles. This indicator is growing for the second week after falling at the end of May to the level of 656 rubles.

From the latest analytical materials of the holding, it follows that the indicators of the average check and the dynamics of the weekly nominal expenses of Russians in 2022 increased by an average of 10 percentage points compared to the analytical data of 2021.
