Romania to hold large-scale exercises involving 10,000 troops from 13 countries
Romania will hold a multinational large-scale exercise “Saber Guardian 23” from May 29. They will be attended by 10,000 military personnel from 13 countries and 1,700 pieces of equipment. Ministry of Defense countries.
The exercises will be the largest and most complex this year. They will be held at military facilities and training grounds. The skills will be practiced by the military from Albania, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Moldova, the USA and the Netherlands.
Training includes ground movements within the tactical framework, forcing water objects, tactical exercises with live firing and without them. It is also planned to use the equipment of all troops, parachute jumps, medical evacuation and treatment of the wounded. The events will last until June 9th.
Earlier it was reported that Finland will receive three NATO ships on May 27 to participate in the Baltops 23 exercise in the Baltic Sea. This is part of the alliance’s planned operations.
