RIAN: Armenia tried to justify Pashinyan’s words about Zakharova

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan could be framed. This was stated by a diplomatic source, commenting on the words of Pashinyan in relation to the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

“The Armenian Foreign Ministry regularly comments on the statements of the leaders of other countries. Perhaps Pashinyan was simply framed, ”RIA Novosti quotes a source in the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Pashinyan said that Armenia would leave the CSTO if it considers the organization “incompetent”, recalls MK.RU. Later, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow would continue the dialogue with Yerevan in order to change Pashinyan’s opinion about the organization. Later, Zakharova commented on the statement of the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that “the CSTO withdrew from Armenia.” In her opinion, Armenia needs to understand all the risks of this decision.
