The RFU recognized the coach of the St. Petersburg “Zenith” Sergei Semak as the best coach in Russia last season. This was reported by the press service of the organization.
On Thursday, at a meeting of the RFU Executive Committee, the winners in various categories following the results of the 2021/22 season were approved.
The 46-year-old specialist has been heading the St. Petersburg club since 2018. In July 2020, he signed a new two-season deal with the club with an option to extend for another year. Under the leadership of Semak, Zenit won the Russian Championship four times in a row.
