A court in Astrakhan appointed three years of corrective labor to a local resident who brought a stray dog to an apartment, raped her and threw her out of a fifth-floor window, local media write.
The crime happened last fall. The prosecution requested two years of work for the zoophile and a deduction of 10% of wages.
Activists of the public movement “Zoopravo” tried to achieve the most severe punishment in the form of real imprisonment. The outraged townspeople also asked not to take into account the surrender and note alcohol intoxication as an aggravating circumstance.
