Capcom has announced the gold edition of Resident Evil: Village, in which the game will receive a downloadable add-on (DLC) Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose. The company announced this on May 14 during an online broadcast.

Together with the DLC, the developers will add to Resident Evil: Village content set called Mercenaries, which, among other things, will allow gamers to enable third-person mode in the game. Thus, they will be able to see from the side of progressing through the story of Ethan Winters. It should be noted that the DLC Shadows of Rose there will only be a third-person mode (in the original game there was only a first-person mode), Rosemary will be at the center of the narrative of the plot addition – daughter of Ethan and Mia Winters.

Recall release Resident Evil Village took place on May 2, 2021. Capcom previously reported that as of March 31, 2022, over 6.1 million copies have been sold worldwide.
