Over a month after the ceasefire breached Israeli forces continue deadly airstrikes across Gaza targeting shelters and densely populated civilian zones.

In the last 24 hours alone, 33 more Palestinians have been killed with over 50 injured in renewed assaults on the besieged strip.
Early Monday, before sunrise, Israeli jets bombed a home in Bani Suheila, southern Gaza, killing at least three people. Overnight, heavy bombardments pounded Rafah, Khan Younis, Jabalia, and even declared “safe zones” like Al-Mawasi refugee camp. Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have maintained a continuous military offensive across Gaza despite mounting global criticism.
Since the start of this 18-month-long onslaught, over 51,000 Palestinians have been killed. According to global estimates though Gaza’s Health Ministry reports the death toll has surpassed 61,700. Among the dead are thousands of women, children, and displaced civilians living in makeshift tents.
Recent IDF investigations confirmed that 15 Palestinian medical workers killed in an airstrike last month due to operational miscommunication and direct violation of orders. A deputy commander involved in the incident has reportedly dismissed.
Victims, volunteers of Palestinian Red Crescent Society shot at with over 100 rounds and buried hastily by IDF troops. Their remains recovered more than a week later. Red Crescent has strongly rejected the findings, demanding a UN-led independent investigation.
In response to the intensifying Israeli aggression, Hamas’s military wing – Qassam Brigades – has recruited at least 300 new fighters. These recruits are undergoing guerrilla warfare training, including rocket strikes and improvised explosive tactics at secret camps across Gaza.
The organization says the recruitment is a direct response to growing human and weapons losses inflicted by Israeli air and ground operations.
IDF claims to have killed around 12,000 Hamas fighters during the conflict. Hamas, on the other hand, acknowledges the loss of 6,000 of its members in same period.
Despite increasing international outrage and calls for a ceasefire, Israel’s military campaign has only escalated. In West Bank, military raids and clashes continue with rising civilian casualties.
Hamas’s armed resistance persists although the group faces mounting logistical challenges due to continuous Israeli strikes and blockades.
