According to the rector of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Victor Sadovnichy, in the new Russian system of higher education, which will be formed after the abandonment of the Bologna system, the bachelor’s and master’s programs should be retained. He stated this on June 18 during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

As the rector of Moscow State University noted in an interview with TASS, he believes that the bachelor’s degree will be retained in certain areas

“Now the bachelor’s degree is given priority, but the specialist’s is not. I would think that the specialist and integrated master’s programs should be given priority, and the bachelor’s and individual master’s programs should be given a certain percentage. It would probably be wise and correct to keep all the preparation options. ”he said.

In addition, Sadovnichiy indicated that he is in this matter a supporter of smooth changes without a radical approach.
