In war-torn Syria, residents are gradually returning home but the country’s healthcare system has collapsed. In this critical situation, Qatar has called for lifting all sanctions on Syria.
The Kurdish residents in Syria face a warning from Turkey’s President, who stated that if they do not abandon conflict, their deaths are inevitable.

Meanwhile, Israel’s military operations in the Golan Heights continue unabated. Groups of Syrians are cautiously returning to their homeland seeking safety following fall of the Assad regime.
However, the country has yet to return to normalcy. During Assad’s rule economy was fragile, and now the healthcare system has also crumbled.
Departure of Bashar al-Assad left Syria with a lack of security, prompting many doctors and nurses to flee. Shortage of medical staff and equipment has exacerbated the crisis.

In light of this, Qatar has urged the global community to lift sanctions imposed on Damascus a plea made public during a regular press conference by Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson. This statement followed discussions between Qatar’s ambassador and Syria’s new administration.
On another front, Israel’s ongoing military activities in the buffer zone of the Golan Heights continue to pose a threat to Syrians. While the new administration focuses on rebuilding nation Israel’s actions remain a serious concern for ordinary citizens.

There is growing fear of Kurdish uprisings. Turkey’s President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has warned that Kurds must lay down arms or face certain death. He also announced plans to establish a Turkish embassy in Syria soon.
