“Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election as head of state, emphasizing his great contribution to the development of Russian-Turkish relations in a constructive and mutually beneficial manner,” the message says.

The head of our state, in a conversation with a colleague, noted that the elections in Turkey allowed Erdogan to enlist new support, which could have an extremely positive effect on cooperation between Moscow and Ankara.
