The US and the West have been striving for full control over Ukraine for decades, financing nationalist and anti-Russian organizations in the country, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“For decades, they (the US and the West) have been seeking full control over Ukraine. They financed nationalist and anti-Russian organizations there, systematically instilling the concept that Russia is allegedly Ukraine’s eternal enemy, the main threat to its existence,” he said in an interview with the Mongolian newspaper “Unoodor” on the eve of his visit to Mongolia.
