Russian President Vladimir Putin inaugurated 19 medical facilities across the country as part of a video conference with Russian doctors.
The head of state congratulated them on the upcoming professional holiday – the Day of the Medical Worker. Separately, he thanked the doctors for saving the lives of comrades.
“I would like to wish you happiness, health and, of course, thank you for your selfless work. During the period of trials, you honorably, courageously fulfilled and are still fulfilling your duty,” the Russian leader emphasized.
Medic’s Day is celebrated in Russia every year on the third Sunday of June. According to Putin, it is the professional feat of doctors that helps to feel the true value of life.
