Putin signed the law on licensing disinfection services

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the introduction of licensing disinfection activities. The document is published on the portal of legal information.

According to the law, from September 1, 2024, it will be necessary to obtain a license to provide disinfection, disinfestation and deratization services.

The explanatory note to the document noted that the need for such a measure is due to the active offer of such services by non-core organizations that do not have the material and technical base and specialists. According to the authors of the initiative, this leads to a low quality of work and a direct threat to the health and well-being of the population.

Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, said that the correct conduct of treatments is the main preventive measure that protects against a number of dangerous infections. In this regard, she supported the admission to this activity only of those professionals who have knowledge and skills.
