MOSCOW, 29 Jan – Russian President Vladimir Putin has included Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova in the presidential council for the implementation of state policy in the field of protecting families and children, corresponding decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“Include the following persons in the council: M.A. Lvova-Belova – Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of the Russian Federation,” the document says. Also included in the council were Alexei Goreslavsky, General Director of the Internet Development Institute ANO, and Alexei Nemov, Vice President of the Artistic Gymnastics Federation of Russia.
The former Ombudsman for Children’s Rights Anna Kuznetsova, who now holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the State Duma, and the ex-CEO of the Internet Development Institute, Anton Klyuchkin, were expelled from the Council.
