Putin declares Army-2022 forum and International Army Games open

In the military-patriotic park of culture and recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation “Patriot” in Odintsovo near Moscow, the International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2022” and the International Army Games have opened. The start was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Kremlin website.

Before the opening of the forum and games, the head of state delivered a welcoming speech. Among other things, the president mentioned the special operation and the Russian military. “Our people are proud of their army and navy, the professionalism and courage of their defenders. At all times, they reliably guarded the sovereignty and security of the Motherland, brought freedom to other peoples,” Putin said.

According to him, during the special operation, the Russian “warriors” together with the Donbass fighters honorably fulfill their duty, fight for Russia, for peaceful life in the DPR and LPR, clearly fulfill all the tasks set, liberating the Donbass step by step. The President also stated the need to respond harshly to attempts to falsify history, to counteract the spread of neo-Nazism, Russophobia and racism.

“Thank you for your attention and I declare the Army-2022 International Military-Technical Forum and the International Army Games open,” the President said at the end of his speech.
