Putin congratulated the assault detachments of PMC “Wagner” and the military of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the liberation of Artemovsk

“Vladimir Putin congratulates the Wagner assault detachments, as well as all the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces units, who provided them with the necessary support and flank cover, on the completion of the operation to liberate Artemovsk,” the congratulation says.

The Kremlin also noted that all distinguished soldiers will be presented for state awards.

The complete liberation of Artemovsk was previously reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The department indicated that the assault detachments of the Wagner group, supported by artillery and aviation of the Southern Group of Forces, participated in the operation.
