Putin called on the governor of the Moscow region to actively work with people

Russian President Vladimir Putin called on Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region, to be persuasive and work actively with people. The meeting between the head of state and the head of the Moscow region took place on Thursday, June 1, in Podolsk, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Putin, it is necessary to work actively with the voters: to show what has been done and what has not been done. “You have to be convincing, in general, in business you succeed,” the president said.

At the same time, Vorobyov asked Putin to support his candidacy in the next gubernatorial elections in the Moscow Region. The President wished the Governor continued success. “All your indicators are normal, for some the Moscow region is the leader, so the groundwork is good.”

Elections of the governor of the region are scheduled for September 10 in the Moscow region. The previous elections for the governor of the Moscow region were held on September 9, 2018.
