Russian President Vladimir Putin, after his visit to Kazakhstan, arrived in Rostov-on-Don, where he visited the headquarters of the Southern Military District. The leader of the Russian Federation was read out reports on the conduct of the SVO and demonstrated new models of military equipment. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“Vladimir Putin, having completed his official visit to Astana, flew to Rostov, where he visited the headquarters of the Southern Military District,” RIA Novosti reported Peskov’s words. The president was accompanied at the headquarters by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Defense Ministry Valery Gerasimov and other military personnel.

Earlier, URA.RU reported on a new plan for the development of relations with Kazakhstan, which was voiced by Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the country’s leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the visit, the Russian President said that he considers Kazakhstan not just his ally, but “the closest.”
