There are no reasons to resume gas supplies to “unfriendly” Bulgaria. This was told by Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov.
The parliamentarian noted that Sofia “desperately” wanted to spend the winter period without gas from Russia. At the same time, Bulgaria independently abandoned domestic blue fuel. Pushkov wrote about this in a personal Telegram channel.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Energy of the technical government of Bulgaria, Rosen Hristov, said that the country’s authorities would study the possibility of resuming the supply of blue fuel from Gazprom. On April 27, the Russian company stopped gas transit due to non-payment in rubles.
