Oppositionist Giorgi Vashadze said during a large-scale protest in Tbilisi that a decision had been made to give the Georgian authorities one hour to fulfill two demands: to withdraw the bill on foreign agents from the Parliament and to release the demonstrators detained the day before.
“Georgian dream” (The ruling party in Georgia. — Note. Life) must immediately withdraw the law from parliament and release all those illegally detained yesterday,” leads RIA News” Vashadze’s words.
According to Georgian media, in total, about 30-40 thousand people have now gathered in the center of Tbilisi. They declare that they will block the entrance to the Parliament building with a human chain if their demands are not met within an hour. Some protesters have already started burning smoke bombs.
