Protesters near the Parliament of Moldova blocked the main boulevard of Chisinau

In Chisinau, representatives and supporters of the Moldovan opposition party “Shor” went to a new anti-government rally due to rising prices. Due to the demonstration, traffic on Stephen the Great Boulevard was blocked, reports TASS.

The rally participants, in particular, unfurled banners with the inscription “We can no longer pay bills!” and call on Moldovan President Maia Sandu to step down. Those gathered are chanting “Down with Sandu!”, “Down with dictatorship!” and demand early presidential elections. A column of protesters went to the parliament building of the republic. The security forces took up positions there.
