The production of civilian drones (UAS) in 2023 will amount to more than 6,000 units, Vasily Shpak, deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, told TASS. According to him, the drone industry will definitely be included in the industry support point system in 2023-2024.

“According to the information that we see, we predict that the volume of BAS production in our country will be at least 6.1 thousand units, including all classes and types, but perhaps these figures will be higher,” the Deputy Minister specified on the sidelines of the conference “ Digital Industry of Industrial Russia.

On April 27, a meeting was held on the development of unmanned aircraft with the participation of Vladimir Putin. He called the industry “the most important area of ​​the country’s activity” and estimated its volume at 1 trillion rubles. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov said that the government proposes to develop a system of tax incentives for drone manufacturers, similar to IT companies. The Federal Air Transport Agency will create an analogue of Flightradar24 for drones.
